Backed by the trusted reputation of Barbeque Nation, the brand focuses on bringing high-quality, affordable biryani experiences to customers via delivery and takeaway, not dine-in. UPDOT® designed and developed a user-centric website by building a custom frontend on Next.js and integrating it with Barbeque Nation’s existing Drupal backend. The solution was engineered around four core capabilities: a headless Drupal architecture, custom Drupal module engineering, a decoupled Next.js front-end, and complex e-commerce logic integration, ensuring a robust, scalable platform built to handle enterprise-grade ordering complexity. The improved flexibility, supported by the new cart system, created upselling opportunities. Operationally, real-time order tracking and smart alerts ensured efficient order handling by staff.
